AliMed® Early Warning E-Z Release Seatbelt w/Alarm alerts staff before patient gets up. The alarm sounds as soon as the patient disengages the fastening buckle. Provides an extra margin of safety for those more active wheelchair patients.
As an extra safety feature, the Early Warning E-Z Release Seatbelt has an extra 12" of hook and loop fabric attached to the belt that must be disengaged before the patient can remove the seatbelt, providing your staff with additional time to attend to the patient.
Easily installs on any chair. Alarms attach to back of wheelchair.
New, optional 12" bariatric extender to accommodate larger patients.
AliMed® offers the Early Warning E-Z Release Seatbelt to accompany our five different alarms.
- AliMed® Basic Sensor Alarm your reliable standard patient alarm. When used with the nurse call jack, alarm sounds both locally at bedside and at the nurse call station. Use on chair or bed. Mounts easily with clip at back of unit.
- AliMed® TR2 Alarm is our most tamper-resistant unit. Perfect for patients who continually turn off alarms, disconnect sensor pads, or break alarms. It's always on – patients can't turn it off and caregivers won't forget to turn it on. All settings concealed under battery cover.
- AliMed® IQ Duo Plus Alarm is truly versatile. It is the answer for facilities consistently switching between pull-cord alarms and sensor alarms. This alarm has both options, pull-cord or sensor alarm.
- AliMed® VOICE Alarm™ is perfect for a patient who may get confused or agitated by a loud siren or alarm tone. Staff or family members can easily record up to a 20-second message.
- AliMed® Worry-Free Alarm uses one battery for the life of the alarm, eliminating a common complaing: the hassles of low battery chirps and battery replacement.
CAUTION: These devices are not restraints! They are designed to be easily opened and removed by most patients. The determination as to the appropriateness of the Early Warning EZ Release Seatbelt, EZ Release Seatbelt and the Buckled Seatbelt with either hook-and-loop closure or with the quick-release seatbelt buckle for a specific patient is the responsibility of the facility and its professional and medical staff.
